Applications are invited from the wards of the Navy Foundation Kerala Charter members for award of the undermentioned Merit Scholarships during the NFKC Onam Celebration 2014:-

(a) Cdr S Arogyaswami Merit Scholarship for students who have passed 12th standard this year 2014 and presently taken up higher studies.

(b) Cmde A N P Pillai, AVSM Merit Scholarship for students who have passed 12th standard this year 2014 and presently taken up higher studies.

(c) Lt (SDC) A P Nair Merit-cum-Means Scholarship for meritorious students who need encouragement and support for pursuing higher studies.

Application on plain paper for award of the above scholarship be sent to the President, NFKC by Hand or Registered/ Speed Post to reach NFKC Office at First Floor, INHS Sanjivani, Naval Base Kochi - 682004 Tele 0484-2874453 at the earliest and not later than 15 Sep 2014. The under mentioned documents are required to be attached:-

(a) Attested mark sheet of 12th standard completed in 2014.

(b) Letter from the institution where higher studies is being pursued.

(c) Proof of meritorious standing and income/pension of parents in respect of students for merit cum means scholarship.

Presently, the outreach has a committed expenditure of Rs 4000/- pm till Jun 2015 on two initiatives, namely, Provision of essential medicines to an Old Age Home at Tripunithura and Supply of baby food to an Orphanage at Kaloor. Voluntary contribution from members are requested to support this programme. Payments made be made by cash/cheque/NEFT and the details for payment are:-

a) Cash Draft/ Cheque(Crossed): Could be handed over to the Secretary, Cdr Jacob Valavi or  Treasurer, Cdr KC Mohan Pillai / Out Reach Program Co-ordinator, Cmde KN Mohandas. The same may also be handed over to the sailor at the NFKC office and intimate the Treasurer/ Secretary. Draft/Cheque could be sent by post ( Ordinary post will do) on the address as follows:-

b) Direct Remittance through Bank: The amount could be remitted directly into NFKC welfare Trust account . Bank details as follows:-
