Independence Day Celebrations 15 Aug 2016

 

Patriotism of Naval Veterans was in full bloom today when Navy Foundation Kerala Charter celebrated 70th Independence Day at Durbar Hall Grounds, Ernakulam.

OUTREACH PROGRAMME

Navy Foundation Kerala Charter actively supports the needy through the "OUTREACH" initiative. Voluntary contribution from members are requested to support this programme. Payments made be made by cash/cheque/NEFT and the details for payment are:-

 

(a) Cash Draft/ Cheque(Crossed): Could be handed over to the Secretary, Cdr Jacob Valavi or  Treasurer, Cdr KC Mohan Pillai / Out Reach Program Co-ordinator, Cmde KN Mohandas. The same may also be handed over to the sailor at the NFKC office and intimate the Treasurer/ Secretary. Draft/Cheque could be sent by post ( Ordinary post will do) on the address as follows:-

Quarter Deck 2017

Navy Foundation Annual Magazine 'Quarterdeck-2017' is due for release in early Feb 2017.

 

Articles, not exceeding 1500 words, supplemented with photographs / cartoons are invited on the following themes:-


(a) 50 glorious years of the Submarine Arm.


(b) IFR 2016 - Challenges and Achievements


(c) Centenary year of Late Adm SN Kohli - a Tribute (


(d) Platinum jubilee of Valsura / India


(e) Golden Jubilee of Rajali


(f) Diamond Jubilee of SFNA


(g) Make in India - Indigenisation efforts of Indian Navy


(h) Articles of General Interest including reminiscences, interesting episodes, anecdotes, poems, cartoons, etc

 

Articles / contributions, other than photos and cartoons, are to be in MS Word format and limited to less than 1500 words. Cartoons and photographs required in jpg/jpeg format.
