The MoD has accepted the recommendations of the Chiefs of Staff Committee and approved that henceforth Ex-Servicemen will be addressed as " Armed Force Veterans" in English and "Poorva Senani" in Hindi.

Agenda points for the next National AGM of Navy Foundation is required to be forwarded to DESA. Points if any with necessary justification may please be forwarded to the Hon.Secretary NFKC  by 15 Aug 2010 for consideration by the managing Committee.

  NFKC Onam get-together will be held on Sunday 26 Sep 2010 at 1100 hrs. All are requested to kindly note the date and keep the day free to participate.

Refund of Legal Fees.   Veteran Officers who have not yet collected the refund amount of Legal fees remitted to the legal Cell of NFKC are requested to contact the Hon.Secretary, Capt Rajan George (Retd) on Mob: 9495736656  and arrange collection.

SAMADHAN . A Pension Grievances Cell 'SAMADHAN' has been set up in the Directorate of Pay and Allowances to resolve difficulties of Naval Pensoiners/ Family Pensioners. NOI Security Deposit. The NOI Secretary has informed through his letter NOI/DO/242/AM(Def) dated 01 Jun 10,�addressed to all Associate Members (Defence) and sent along with the monthly bill for May 2010, that the security deposit which was increased from Rs 2000/- to 5000/- for Retired officers has been restored back to Rs 2000/-with immediate effect.
